Research Overview
(1)Intelligent Human-Computer Interaction Systems: Proposed graphene artificial larynx that senses weak throat vibrations from speech-impaired patients and assists in producing synthetic restored voice, showing promise in helping speech-impaired patients to speak.
(2)Intelligent Sensing Systems for Medical Healthcare: Developed new flexible mechanical sensing devices for monitoring physiological features such as breathing and heartbeat, supporting the development of smart healthcare industries.
(3)Novel Flexible Materials and Devices: Prepared new skin-friendly, imperceptible wearable materials and devices through electrospinning, laser direct writing, chemical synthesis, etc., combined with machine learning algorithms to achieve innovative applications.

As first author or corresponding author, published over 40 SCI papers, including top journals such as Nature Communications (ESI highly cited paper), ACS Nano (ESI hot/highly cited paper), Advanced Functional Materials, Infomat, etc. Published 4 EI papers, including papers at top microelectronics conference IEDM. Granted over 10 invention patents. Led 8 research projects including those funded by National Natural Science Foundation of China. The intelligent graphene artificial larynx work was recognized as one of the "China's Top Ten Major Technological Advances of 2017" by Science & Technology Review and as one of the top ten "Black Technology" innovative products at the first China International Smart Industry Expo.
